I've finally got around to learning some html. Cheers to Ben for help with various things. All the layout is done with CSS - have a look at Web Page Design For Designers for advice on how to use it. Feel free to use the CSS if you want it.

The actual html is pretty ropey (various pages have stuff missing, especially meta information) but I wanted to get the site up and running with some kind of content on it now. I'll patch the holes as I go along.

However, this page at least validates as xhtml.
