Hello. This is me. Doing something that I love. (This is near the top of the Dent du Requin near Chamonix, btw.)

I'm living in San Diego, California, working as a postdoc, but seeing a bit more sun. And learning to surf. Still climbing a fair bit too.

I have accounts at the usual collection of social network sites, some of which I use more than others. If you know me then my Facebook profile may accept friend requests. But it's sufficiently buggy and insecure that I don't know from day to day how well locked down that is. I'm @wittyremarkhere on Twitter, which I mostly use for sciency things.
